My Christian Life: Galatians 1:10

Happy December 31st guys and dolls! It is the end of the year, as you know, and I just want to say thanks to any and every one who has contributed to my happiness. Most people are unaware but I started doing Bible Studies in November. The focus is young adult women and we meet on the first Friday of the month. December’s focus verse was the one pictured above and I like to just reflect on how I’ve learned and grown over the past month with this verse, and other things that we’ve discussed at Bible Study.

I used to be such a people pleaser. You guys have no idea, I just started to get away from that about 2 or 3 months ago, and this verse just brings it full circle for me. It takes a strong person to stand firm on their beliefs, not wavering for what someone else thinks or has to say. If you ever get confused about what you are being led to do, talk to God. Let your spirit guide you. Doing so eliminates so much confusion, and exposes so many people who you thought were in your life for your good. Once you stop living for them and start living for your betterment in the Kingdom of God, you’ll see TONS of true colors.

Who are you living for?

What are you committed to?

These are important questions to ask yourself that deserve answers.

If I don’t talk to you all before the clock strikes twelve (I won’t) make sure you have a blessed and SAFE new year. Love you all! Talk later.

  1. Hey! I too used to be a “people pleaser” conforming to what and who people thought I should be. Thank God I no longer am! It’s good to be free from people and their ideas of you! Good to see you doing well, happily married and blessed. I gotta get my blog up to par, you making me look bad out here! Haha
