K Love ~30 Day Challenge

Here we go again Keisha and her 30 day challenges.

Trust me I get it, but since this is the first one of the new year and I REALLY want to stick with it I think I will start this one off by following through! As I’ve stated in other posts, I love pretty much all genres of music when they’re played at the right time and if the words make sense to me. I prefer something that is going to uplift me and make my day go a little smoother. Today I decided to turn on K Love via iheartradio.com which I’m sure a lot of people are familiar with. During one of the commercial breaks they mentioned a 30 day challenge, and of course my ears perked up. This one is a simple one, and encouraging one, an inspiring one, basically you listen to nothing but Christian Music for 30 days and see how much of a positive impact it has on your life. “Can’t hurt. Might help.”

Being completely honest, I just hope Drake doesn’t do an impromptu show here in Kansas City between today and February 8th…noooooo I wasn’t ready. Kidding, sort of. (LOL)

If you’re in the Kansas City area the radio station is 97.3

If you want to access K Love online you can log in to iheartradio.com or simply go to http://www.klove.com which is also where you can sign up for this challenge. I started a little late so I will be doing this until 2/8/15. I’ll check in periodically to let you guys know how I’m feeling. Feel free to join me!

God Bless,

Keish!

  1. I think this is such a wonderful idea! I’ve done something similar to this a few times in the past, and I was surprised how much my daily perspective changed and how I was able to grow closer to God and focus on Him more in the process. I LOVE listening to a variety of genres of music, too, but I actually didn’t miss my secular music during my break. It’s nothing but a positive experience — glad you’re doing it!
