So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate…
I have been married for one year now and I don’t have the words to even closely describe how great of a year it has been. This man has truly shown me what love is and how to express it in the correct way. We are both still young, and both still learning. We don’t have all the answers and we know that it takes time before either of us become the “master of Marriage”. What I can say is that we enjoy each other, we are honest with each other, and even if we do have a disagreement we remember what our union is about and we move past it.
I never thought that I would find such a jewel, or even that I deserved it. All the glory truly belongs to God for the woman I am now versus the woman I was a few years ago. Though I don’t regret anything, it was all a learning experience, I just honestly never saw myself with such a blessing of a husband. He truly treats me like the daughter of a King and that’s all that I can hope for.
If you’re reading this keep us lifted in your prayers. Pray that we stay as close to God as we can. Pray that Brian continues to be an awesome leader of our household. Pray that even when the hard times come we are able to see the blessings coming in the midst of the storm. Pray for many many many more years of happiness and growing the kingdom of God.
